To assure positive adhesion and sealant performance make certain that all surfaces are clean and free of dirt, dust, grease, oil and foreign materials.  On surfaces, pooled water should first be removed.  Unscrew nozzle and cut off cap above the threads.  Screw nozzle back on and cut spout to desired bead size (1/4" to 3/8" recommended).  Place cartridge in caulking gun and apply; forcing adhesive onto surface.  When working on rough, uneven surfaces use enough adhesive to fill gaps.  Use mechanical fasteners to hold the substratein place until the adhesive has fully cured.  Drying time may very, depending on the humidity and temperature.

For sealing applications, quickly smooth after application with an appropriate tool.  PL® Ultimate provides an air and moisture barrier.  Seals most joints and cracks in constrution projects and repairs.  Adheres to wet surfaces, and can be applied in the cold and will not crack.
